Admiral Count Update

The latest Proceedings Naval Review issue (May 2015) lists the Navy as having 293 Admirals so I guess the heady days of 300+ Admirals is over.  Still, with only around 280 ships, this seems just a wee bit top heavy, yet, don't ya think?

    For anyone interested the Navy has a web page of civilian and military leadership biographies.

    I counted 290 admirals but I bet there are a few not counted who are at school or some non-military position that might not be in this list
