ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to go to Game 2 of the 2001 World Series in Phoenix. Watching Ray Charles perform America the Beautiful is something I'll never forget.

ReplyDeleteI have always find this quote to have a strong meaning behind it. The nature of public opinion is always difficult to assess and it could easily be "right" or "wrong". It's up to the people who rise up above to the rest and convincingly lay out evidence to sway public opinion to a path or to an ideal that the person believes in.
I'm not sure if this is what you intended or inspired by but in the end, this blog emboldens the spirit of our great forefathers.
